Practice Information

Thank you for choosing Inner Mind Navigator.

This page provides important information about appointments, fees, payment processing, confidentiality, communication, and other aspects of working together. It has been designed to help you understand how the practice operates and what you can expect throughout your therapeutic journey.

Please take a few moments to read the information before your first appointment. If you have any questions, you are welcome to ask at any stage.

  • Therapy is tailored to your individual needs and circumstances. Appointments are available in person and online, providing flexibility to access support in a way that best suits you.

    Complimentary Clarity Call (30 minutes)

A complimentary introductory conversation designed to discuss your needs, answer any questions you may have, and explore whether my therapeutic approach is the right fit for you. This call does not constitute therapy, and there is no obligation to book further appointments.

    Initial Therapeutic Session (60 minutes)

Your first appointment focuses on understanding your presenting concerns, relevant background, and therapeutic goals. Together, we will develop a shared understanding of your needs and discuss an approach tailored to support meaningful and lasting change. Where appropriate, therapeutic strategies may begin during this session.

    Ongoing Therapeutic Session (60 minutes)

Ongoing sessions provide continued therapeutic support tailored to your individual needs and goals. Sessions focus on developing insight, strengthening emotional resilience, building practical strategies, and supporting progress towards your therapeutic goals.

    Extended Therapeutic Session (90 minutes)

Extended sessions provide additional time for more in-depth therapeutic work where clinically appropriate. They may be recommended for more complex presentations or where additional therapeutic time is beneficial. Extended sessions are typically arranged following discussion with your therapist to ensure they best support your individual needs.

  • Current fees for all appointment types are available on the website and during the online booking process.

Payment is requested at the time of booking unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in advance.

Should session fees change in the future, reasonable notice will be provided before any changes take effect.

Payment confirmations and receipts are issued electronically following successful payment.

  • Payments are processed securely through Stripe, a trusted third-party payment provider.

Inner Mind Navigator does not receive or store your full payment card details. Payment information is processed directly by Stripe using industry-standard encryption and security measures.

Stripe processes payment information in accordance with its own Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, security standards, and applicable legal obligations. Inner Mind Navigator receives confirmation of successful payment together with limited transaction information required for appointment administration, accounting, and financial record-keeping.

Your financial information is managed separately from your clinical records and is not used for marketing purposes.

If you have any questions regarding payments or invoices, please feel free to get in touch.

  • Life is sometimes unpredictable, and if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, I ask that you provide at least 24 hours' notice wherever possible.

If you wish to arrange another appointment following a cancellation, please contact me directly. Wherever possible, I will do my best to offer the next suitable appointment.

Appointments cancelled with more than 24 hours' notice may be transferred to another available appointment or refunded, according to your preference and availability.

Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, or missed appointments, may incur the full session fee except in exceptional circumstances.

Exceptional circumstances will always be considered with compassion, fairness, and professional discretion.

  • Where a refund is applicable, it will normally be processed using the original payment method.

Refunds are generally available when appointments are cancelled with at least 24 hours' notice.

Refunds are not normally provided for missed appointments or cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice unless exceptional circumstances apply.

Approved refunds are processed as promptly as possible; however, the time taken for funds to appear in your account will depend on your payment provider. description

  • Communication outside of appointments is intended primarily for administrative matters such as booking enquiries, appointment changes, cancellations, invoices, or general practice questions.

Email is not monitored continuously and should not be used for urgent clinical matters or emergencies.

Therapeutic support is generally provided during scheduled appointments unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in advance.

Administrative enquiries are usually responded to during normal business hours. Response times may vary during weekends, public holidays, periods of leave, or while engaged in clinical work.

If I become concerned about your welfare and am unable to contact you after reasonable attempts, I may contact your nominated emergency contact, GP, or another appropriate person where this is considered necessary to reduce the risk of serious harm.
