Appointments are available in person in Bexhill-on-Sea and online. The type and frequency of sessions will depend on your individual needs, goals and circumstances and can be reviewed as our work progresses.
Discovery Call — 15 minutes
If you're unsure whether therapy is the right next step, a complimentary 15-minute Discovery Call gives you an opportunity to ask questions, briefly discuss what you're looking for support with, and learn more about how I work.
If we agree that working together may be appropriate, I'll explain the next steps for booking an Initial Therapy Consultation.
Initial Therapy Consultation — 60 minutes
Your first therapy appointment gives us time to explore what has brought you to therapy, discuss your goals and develop a shared understanding of the difficulties you would like to address.
This initial understanding helps inform how we might work together and which therapeutic approaches may be appropriate for your individual needs. Where appropriate, therapeutic strategies or interventions may also begin during this session.
Therapy Session — 60 minutes
Therapy Sessions provide time to continue and develop the therapeutic work established during your Initial Therapy Consultation.
Sessions may involve exploring relevant patterns and experiences, reviewing progress, developing and practising therapeutic strategies, and adapting our approach in response to your needs and goals.
The direction and frequency of therapy can be reviewed collaboratively as our work progresses.
Extended Therapy Session — 90 minutes
An Extended Therapy Session provides additional time when a longer appointment may be therapeutically appropriate.
A 90-minute session may be useful when particular therapeutic work would benefit from additional time without being constrained by the standard 60-minute appointment.
Extended Therapy Sessions are available following discussion and mutual agreement and may be used at particular stages of therapy rather than as the standard session length.

Current fees for all appointment types are available on the website and are clearly displayed during the online booking process.
Payment is requested at the time of booking to confirm your appointment, unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in advance.
If session fees change, reasonable notice will be provided before the new fees take effect.
Payment confirmations and receipts are issued electronically following successful payment.
-
Payments are processed securely through Stripe, a third-party payment provider.
Inner Mind Navigator does not receive or store your full payment card details. Payment information is provided directly to and processed by Stripe in accordance with its own privacy, security and legal obligations.
Inner Mind Navigator receives confirmation of payment together with limited transaction information required for appointment administration, accounting and financial record-keeping.
Payment and transaction information is managed separately from your clinical records and is not used by Inner Mind Navigator for marketing purposes.
If you have any questions about payments, receipts or invoices, please get in touch.
-
Life can sometimes be unpredictable. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please provide at least 24 hours' notice.
Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with more than 24 hours' notice may be transferred to another available appointment. If you prefer not to reschedule, any session fee already paid may be refunded.
Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, or appointments that are not attended, will normally be charged at the full session fee.
If you need to arrange another appointment following a cancellation, please contact me and I will offer the next suitable appointment where availability allows.
I recognise that unexpected and exceptional circumstances can arise. Where this happens, late cancellations or missed appointments may be considered on an individual basis with fairness, compassion and professional discretion.
-
Where a refund is applicable, it will normally be processed to the original payment method.
Session fees may be refunded when an appointment is cancelled at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointmentand you choose not to reschedule.
Refunds are not normally provided for appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice or for missed appointments. Exceptional circumstances may be considered on an individual basis.
Approved refunds will be processed as promptly as reasonably possible. The time taken for the funds to appear in your account will depend on your bank or payment provider.
-
Communication outside scheduled appointments is primarily intended for administrative matters, such as booking enquiries, appointment changes or cancellations, payments, invoices and general practice questions.
Email and other practice communication channels are not monitored continuously and should not be used for urgent therapeutic support or emergencies.
Therapeutic work is generally undertaken during scheduled appointments. If communication outside sessions is required for a specific therapeutic purpose, this will normally be discussed and agreed in advance.
Administrative enquiries are usually responded to during normal business hours. Response times may vary during weekends, public holidays, periods of leave or while I am engaged in clinical work.
If information arises that gives me reasonable grounds to believe that there is a serious or immediate risk of harm to you or another person, I may need to take appropriate steps to support safety. Depending on the circumstances, this may include contacting your nominated emergency contact, GP, emergency services or another appropriate professional. Any disclosure would be limited to information reasonably necessary for the purpose and handled in accordance with professional, ethical and legal obligations.
-
Online therapy provides a flexible way to access therapeutic support when online appointments are appropriate and preferred.
To help maintain your privacy and support the quality of your session, please:
join from a quiet, private location where you are comfortable speaking openly;
use a reliable internet connection where possible;
check your camera and microphone before the appointment; and
consider using headphones where this may provide additional privacy.
Please let me know your location at the time of the session if this differs from the location information already provided. This can be important if an unexpected safety or emergency situation arises during an online appointment.
Reasonable measures are used to support the privacy and security of online sessions. However, as with any internet-based communication, absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
If significant technical difficulties occur during an appointment, reasonable efforts will be made to reconnect. Where this is not possible, we will discuss an appropriate alternative depending on the circumstances.
-
There may be occasions when communication with your GP or another healthcare professional can support continuity and coordination of your therapeutic work.
Where appropriate, I will normally discuss this with you first and obtain your consent before sharing information.
This may include:
coordinating with another professional involved in your care;
supporting continuity of care;
providing relevant information at your request; or
seeking or sharing information where this may appropriately support the therapeutic work.
Only information relevant and reasonably necessary for the agreed purpose will be shared.
There may be exceptional circumstances in which information needs to be disclosed without your consent, such as where disclosure is required by law or where there are serious concerns about the safety of you or another person. Any such disclosure will be considered in accordance with applicable legal, professional and ethical obligations.
-
Appropriate clinical records are maintained to support the safe, effective and ethical delivery of therapy and continuity of therapeutic work.
Records may include assessment information, clinical formulations, treatment plans, session and progress notes, relevant correspondence, appointment history, and other information reasonably necessary for the therapeutic services provided.
Clinical records are stored securely and retained in accordance with applicable legal, professional, regulatory and insurance requirements. At the end of the applicable retention period, records are securely deleted, destroyed or anonymised where appropriate.

If you have questions about your clinical records or would like to make a request regarding your personal information, please contact me directly. Further information is available in the Inner Mind Navigator Privacy Notice.
-
Confidentiality is a fundamental part of the therapeutic relationship and helps provide a safe environment in which you can speak openly and honestly.
Information shared during therapy is treated with respect, sensitivity and confidentiality. Your personal and clinical information is handled in accordance with applicable data protection requirements and professional and ethical standards.
There are circumstances in which confidentiality may need to be limited or information disclosed. These may include where:
there are reasonable grounds for concern about a serious risk of harm to you or another person;
safeguarding responsibilities require appropriate action;
disclosure is required by law, court order or another legal obligation; or
another circumstance arises in which disclosure is necessary and justifiable under applicable professional, ethical or legal obligations.
Where it is safe, appropriate and practicable to do so, I will aim to discuss the need for disclosure with you before information is shared. Any disclosure will be limited to information reasonably necessary for the purpose.
Clinical Supervision
As part of safe and ethical professional practice, I engage in regular clinical supervision. Relevant aspects of therapeutic work may be discussed with a suitably qualified supervisor to support clinical reflection, professional development and the quality of therapeutic practice.
Information shared for supervision is limited to what is relevant, and identifying information is avoided or minimised wherever practicable. Clinical supervision is itself conducted within professional confidentiality requirements.

Therapy is reviewed collaboratively throughout our work together to consider your progress, changing needs and whether the therapeutic approach continues to be appropriate and helpful.
You are free to decide to pause or end therapy at any time. Where possible, I encourage you to discuss this with me so that we have an opportunity to review our work, consider any remaining needs, and bring therapy to an appropriate conclusion.
There may also be circumstances where I recommend ending therapy, pausing our work, or seeking additional or alternative professional support. This may be appropriate where your needs fall outside my scope of practice, another service may be better suited to your needs, or continuing therapy is no longer considered therapeutically appropriate.
Where appropriate, we can discuss suitable next steps and possible sources of additional or alternative support.
-
Inner Mind Navigator Ltd is committed to ethical, professional and evidence-informed practice.
I practise within the scope of my professional training, competence and experience, and engage in regular clinical supervision and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) to support safe, effective and responsible practice.
Therapeutic services are provided with regard to applicable professional and ethical standards, relevant codes of conduct, and legal and regulatory requirements.
Where a client's needs fall outside my scope of practice or would be more appropriately supported by another professional or service, this will be discussed and, where appropriate, alternative or additional support may be recommended.

Therapy is a collaborative process, and your active participation can help support our work together.
As a client, you are encouraged to:
