When sleep becomes difficult, it can affect many areas of life. You may struggle to fall asleep, wake during the night, or find that your mind becomes most active when you're trying to rest.

Over time, disrupted sleep can leave you feeling physically drained, emotionally overwhelmed and less able to manage everyday demands. You may also find yourself worrying about sleep itself, particularly as bedtime approaches.

Therapy provides a space to explore the thoughts, habits, expectations and emotional responses that may be contributing to ongoing sleep difficulties. Together, we can identify patterns around sleep and develop practical strategies for responding differently, including approaches to relaxation and self-regulation.

My approach integrates Clinical Hypnotherapy with evidence-informed psychological, cognitive and behavioural approaches, tailored to your individual circumstances, needs and goals.

Sleep difficulties can sometimes be associated with physical health conditions, medications or sleep disorders. Persistent or unexplained sleep problems should be discussed with your GP or an appropriate healthcare professional.

Taking the Next Step

If sleep difficulties are affecting your wellbeing or everyday life, you're welcome to get in touch.

We can discuss what has been happening, the patterns you've noticed around sleep and what you would like to be different.

You don't need to know exactly why you're struggling with sleep before reaching out. Understanding what may be contributing to the difficulty can be part of our work together.
