Life Transitions
Life is full of change, and not all transitions are easy. You may be adjusting to perimenopause or menopause, life during or after cancer treatment or other health challenges, the impact of difficult or traumatic experiences, relationship changes, divorce, relocation, career changes, retirement, or another significant life event.
Periods of transition can bring uncertainty, stress and a wide range of emotions. Even changes that are welcomed or chosen can leave you feeling unsettled as you adjust to a different stage of life.
At times, you may find yourself questioning who you are now, what comes next, or how to adapt when life looks different from what you expected.
Therapy offers a supportive space to reflect on what is happening, make sense of your experience and explore how you are responding to change. Together, we can look at the thoughts, emotions and patterns of behaviour that may be making the transition more difficult, while exploring what matters to you as you adapt to your changing circumstances.
My approach integrates Clinical Hypnotherapy with evidence-informed psychological, cognitive and behavioural approaches, tailored to your individual circumstances, needs and goals.
Where a life transition involves a physical health condition or medical treatment, therapeutic support is complementary and does not replace appropriate medical care.
Taking the Next Step
If you're finding it difficult to adjust to a change in your life, you're welcome to get in touch.
You don't need to know exactly what you need or have everything worked out before reaching out. We can begin by exploring what has changed, how it is affecting you and what you would like support with.
