Perhaps you find yourself stuck in repetitive thought patterns, constantly analysing situations, seeking reassurance, checking things repeatedly or feeling unable to let certain worries go. Even when you recognise that these thoughts or behaviours are unhelpful, they can feel difficult to change.
Over time, these patterns can become exhausting and may begin to interfere with everyday life.
Therapy offers a supportive space to explore the thoughts, triggers, behaviours and responses that may be contributing to these recurring patterns. Together, we can develop greater awareness of what happens before, during and after an urge or repetitive behaviour, and explore different ways of responding to difficult thoughts, uncertainty and urges.
My approach integrates Clinical Hypnotherapy with evidence-informed psychological, cognitive and behavioural approaches, tailored to your individual circumstances, needs and goals.
If you have been diagnosed with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), or your symptoms are significantly affecting your ability to function in everyday life, appropriate assessment and specialist psychological or medical support may also be important. Therapy through Inner Mind Navigator is not a replacement for specialist OCD treatment where this is clinically indicated.
Taking the Next Step
If repetitive thoughts or behaviours are becoming difficult to manage, you're welcome to get in touch.
We can discuss what you've been experiencing, how these patterns are affecting you and whether my approach may be appropriate for your needs.
If another form of assessment or specialist support would be more appropriate, this can also be discussed.
